The sacrament of penance or reconciliation, also known as confession, is the rite by which sins are confessed and then forgiven. Absolution is given by the priest either in individual confessions or in communal ceremonies. Penance represents a commitment to make amends and is carried out privately.
Any person who has been baptised and prepared appropriately can celebrate this sacrament.
Confessions are held privately at Yellow Walls Parish and during communal ceremonies during the year.
