Vigil Masses of Christmas at 5.00pm (Family Mass) and 7.00pm (Folk Group)

Solemn Night Mass of Christmas at 9.00pm (Parish Choir)


CHRISTMAS DAY - Saturday 25th December

Masses at 10.00 am and at 12.00 noon (Parish Choir)

There will be limited access to these Masses to abide by the Covid 19 Health and Safety regulations and places will have to be booked in advance.  (Please see back of this timetable with how to reserve the limited places)


Feast of the Holy Family - Sunday 26th December (St. Stephen is not celebrated this year)

Sunday Masses at 10.00am & 12.00 noon. (No Vigil Mass on Christmas Day Evening)

Monday 27th December – National Holiday

One Mass for the Cluster of Parishes at 11.00am in St. Anne’s, Portmarnock

Tuesday 28th December – National Holiday

One Mass for the Cluster of Parishes at 11.00am here in Sacred Heart Church

Wed - 29th – Fri 31st December. Mass at 11.00am each day.

On Friday afternoon for New Year’s Eve ~  “Last Light Ceremony” at 4.30pm to Pray out the Old Year of 2021 and Pray in the New Year of 2022.

Saturday 1st Jan. 2022 (Feast of Mary, Mother of God & World Day of PEACE)

There will be Mass at 11.00am here in Sacred Heart Church

Monday 3rd January – National Holiday

One Mass for the Cluster of Parishes at 10.30am in St. Sylvester’s, Malahide

The usual schedule resumes on Tuesday 4th January with Mass at 10.00am.


The Feast of the Epiphany falls on Thursday 6th January and is a Holy Day. Vigil Mass for on Wednesday at 6.00pm and morning Mass on  Thursday at 10.00am

It will not be possible to have our traditional Christmas Penance Service with individual absolutions.  However at each Mass on Saturday Evening/Sunday Morning 18th/19th December there will be a short penance ceremony with absolution for all present. This will also happen at the 10.00am Masses on Thursday/Friday 23rd/24th December.


Should you wish for individual confession this can be arranged in St. Joseph’s Chapel with Fr. Martin by appointment.
