Sacred Heart Church, Yellow Walls Parish

Corona Virus Pandemic

Over the coming weeks our parishes are gradually reopening to public celebration of Masses after more than three months of lockdown. This re-opening is on a phased basis across the parishes so that we can do it in as sacred but also in as safe, as ordered and as joyful a way as possible.

As the Corona Virus is still very active, the bishops of Ireland have continued the dispensation to all the Faithful from the obligation to physically attend Sunday Mass. We can come to Mass on a weekday for example rather than Sunday if that is more comfortable for us. The total amount of people gathered in church for any service must strictly conform with the health guidelines pertaining at any time as the PANDEMIC continues.

Masses will continue to be live streamed on webcam from both Yellow Walls ( and Portmarnock (

RTE are also continuing for the month of July to broadcast Holy Mass each weekday (Monday – Friday) at 10.30am on RTE News Now.
